Mother's Day gift

So, I got to celebrate Mother's Day a little early because Matt has to work nights. I just had to show what he got me. Sapphires for September :) Isn't he just wonderful.

April and May Belly Pics

Here are some new pictures of my belly getting bigger. Here are some pictures I have taken over the last couple of weeks. The green and black shirt pictures are around 18 weeks. The red, naked belly, and green shirt are about 20 weeks. The blue shirt is from today. Tomorrow I will be 22 weeks along. My next doctor's appointment has been moved to May 26th. So, I'll probably get some belly pictures on here before another baby picture.

April 20, 2009 SURPRISE!!!

Today, we got the biggest surprise...It's actually a girl!! The doctor said that the ambilical cord must have been in the way before and made it look like a boy. But, with the 3 lines, she is 100% sure it's a girl. However, Matt is still skeptical about it. We go back on May 18th and we'll get another peek just for the sanity of it. She is very healthy; her heart, tummy, kidneys, brain, spine...everything looks good. The heartrate was 140 beats per minute and she in the 35 percentile for babies at her age. So, we are excited!!

March Belly Pics

This is one of the outfits that I got when Mom and Dad were out visiting. I love it and wanted to get a picture in it. Plus, I'm getting a belly, so I thought it would be a good time. I am 16 weeks 6 days in these pictures. In one picture, it is normal and Matt joked that I was pushing my stomach out. In the other picture I tried to suck in. Not much difference between the two :) See if you can tell...

March 25, 2009

So, I went in for my doctor's appointment for this month and the doctor did an ultrasound. The heartbeat was 158 beats per minute and the baby looked great. She got to look at the baby's "parts" and the baby is a BOY!! Or at least that is what she thinks the baby is right now. I am supposed to get my long ultrasound next month and she will check again. She stated that she has never been wrong, so she didn't want to give me a definite till next week. So, I'm still waiting to get boy stuff, but we are very excited. Matt is very happy with himself. I am 16 weeks as of tomorrow and I've only gained 2 lbs. The doc says it's okay and that I'll make up for it later :)Here are a couple of pictures.

Maternity Shopping

This weekend, March 20, Mom and Dad came out to visit us. We went to Rapid City on Saturday and went maternity clothes shopping. We found some really cute clothes and above are a couple of pictures. The one in the white shirt is with my jeans bundled underneath the shirt. We were trying to see if it will fit when I'm farther along. The Mom and Dad were supposed to leave on Monday morning, but are still here due to a blizzard that came in on early Monday morning. We are enjoying having them here. Plus, they got to see the baby in an ultrasound on Friday afternoon. The baby was moving all over the place and made it hard to tell if it was a girl or boy. I am still supposed to go in tomorrow to see my doctor, so maybe we can tell then. I will also post a couple of pictures of the blizzard.

First Trimester Pics

So, I decided to take some belly pics. These are my first trimester pics and I thought I'd better get some on the blogsite even though you can't really tell. I have a little belly, but I'm looking forward to it getting much bigger :) I'll keep you all updated soon if we are able to find out the sex on the 25th. I'll also add more belly pics and ultrasound pics as the months go on. The one with the brown shirt is the most recent picture.
